The app can provide this feature even behaving as network server, and as such, make the device addressable by the port-forwarding configuration of a public-IP router, allowing this way to be a gate fed from the outside and capable of broadcasting in the local network (and toward some other public-IP destination, if needed). If the "listening" devices stay all within the local net, then a discovering action is still available for them provided that receivers run in a discovering mode too.In addition enriches the repeater role where remote desktop service is even made passing through.
